A multilocation community bank was struggling to fill a huge void when their Vice President of Human Resources resigned.
CCI provided interim HR support for several weeks while the client focused on filling the role on a permanent basis and continued to provide as-needed support, including successfully addressing sensitive FMLA issues. Since then, the client requested to partner with our consultant to conduct an HR compliance audit. The audit was completed through a series of employee interviews and a comprehensive review of current documentation, tools, and practices to assess areas of inefficiency, identify gaps and vulnerabilities, and develop recommendations for improvement. A detailed report, highlighting best practices as well as compliance risks, was provided.
The results of the report essentially provided the new HR leader with a road map of critical HR issues to address, mitigate compliance risk, and make the necessary changes to improve the health of the organization. The client has since engaged CCI to present its findings to the bank’s Board of Directors.
