Challenge
A non-profit operating a popular historic attraction had an immediate need for an experienced employee relations professional to work evenings and weekends and help them onboard over 200 temporary employees within four weeks for an annual fundraising event. This event was critical as it generates revenue that covers over 60% of the organization’s operation costs. The nature of the event also required our consultant to work odd hours, including weekends and evenings up to 11 PM.
Solution
CCI placed an HR consultant who quickly took charge of all HR related activities, including onboarding, employee relations, and management coaching.
Results
Over two years after that initial engagement, CCI continues to provide interim HR consulting support to this client as, in addition to the fundraising event, this consulting role now provides HR support to the organization’s daily operations with a focus on workforce planning, talent acquisition, employee relations, and total rewards.
